This album has been complete for some time. It might seem to be a pandemic album by name alone, but it was written between the summers of 2017 and 2019, far before all the madness took place. Sitting down to write new music one evening, I found myself reaching for some familiar yet previously abandoned tools to contort beats I had created. Coupled with a few new synths (and some old trusty ones) plus some new creative plugins, I found myself making another Dryft album.

About a year prior, I abandoned nearly all of the completed works for the Dryft album e00, which I felt to be entirely in the wrong musical direction I wanted to be. As a result, From Stasis was written without experimenting with some "other" style. I just wrote without giving it too much thought.

From Stasis is the only Dryft album to be pressed on vinyl and is mastered by my dear friend Emilio Pozzolini. The grey with black marble LP is limited to 250 units worldwide.
